I gave this cream a fair shot for my son’s eczema, but the whole “eczema relief” thing didn’t really pan out for us. It felt gentle enough on his skin, which I appreciated, but after about a week, those red patches were still very much hanging around. Not terrible, just not the miracle cream I was hoping for

My kid had these stubborn dry patches that felt like they were never going away, and I was starting to feel trapped trying cream after cream. This one actually helped fast. It’s thick, but not greasy, and it keeps their skin soft for most of the day.

I tried placing an order on californiababy.com, but the site kept freezing when I got to checkout. My cart changed on me twice, and after I refreshed, the shipping price was suddenly different too.
I ended up giving up because it just felt kinda frustrating for something that should’ve been simple. I only wanted to buy a few things, but the whole experience was not great.

Am I missing something here? The whole experience just felt kind of sketchy to me, and I don’t really trust them anymore. I don’t see myself buying from them again

My toddler gets these random red, itchy patches after baths sometimes, which is one of those things that makes you start rethinking everything in the bathroom, even the towels for some reason. A friend mentioned California Baby, so I figured I’d give it a shot.
I ordered the calendula cream and wash from californiababy.com. Shipping was normal, no big event, just showed up when it was supposed to. After a few days of using both, his skin looked a lot less irritated, and the biggest thing was that he wasn’t scratching at it constantly anymore.
It’s definitely not the cheapest stuff, but if it works, I’m willing to pay a little more. Also kind of random, but I really appreciate that it doesn’t have a super strong smell. Overall, it worked well for us, so I’d give it 5 stars.

It does seem safe and gentle, which I appreciate, but for the price I expected it to work a little better. I still had to do extra steps to get the results I wanted, and that extra work was kind of annoying.

I was hoping this cream would be easy to use, but it’s kind of thick and takes a while to actually sink in. It’s not terrible, and my skin feels fine afterward, but it stays a little greasy for longer than I’d like. I feel like every time I think I’ve figured out how much to use, the goalposts move and it still ends up feeling heavy. I just wish it absorbed faster.

I’ve ordered from California Baby a few times now. Same good stuff every time. No weird smell changes. No texture changes. Just works like it always has. My kid has sensitive skin, so I notice right away if something feels off. So far, nothing. Very consistent. Shipping was fine too

I didn’t think a pump could make such a difference, but here we are. This one presses so easily, even when I’ve only got one free hand and bath time is already turning into a whole production. It doesn’t jam or fight me like some others I’ve used, and it gives just the right amount without those dramatic messy globs. it makes the bath time chaos feel a little more manageable

I’m always a little cautious when ordering because I don’t want to deal with missing items, wrong sizes, or the hassle of returns. Thankfully, everything showed up exactly as I picked it, with no mix-ups at all. It was simple and stress-free, which is all I was hoping for. 5 stars from me...

My order did eventually arrive, but the shipping was slower than I thought it would be. What bothered me most was that the updates weren’t very clear, so I was left guessing when it would actually show up

I do like California Baby overall. The products we tried were gentle on my kid’s skin, and shipping was totally fine, so I don’t really have complaints there. It’s one of those brands I want to keep using because the quality does seem solid.
That said, the prices can feel high for what you get. Some items seem worth it, but others feel way too small for the cost. I’ve also felt a little ignored when I’ve had concerns, like the price complaints are just brushed off. These days I mostly wait for a sale before buying again.

I used this on my kids during a whole afternoon at the beach, and no one ended up red or burned, so... happy with that. It does go on a little thick, but I don’t mind because it feels like it’s actually covering them well. Ordering it was easy too, which is always nice.

I really wanted to like this, but wow, the smell is intense. Nope. For something meant for a baby, I expected it to be a lot lighter and more gentle. It actually gave me a headache after using it a couple of times, so I had to stop. Bummer. Just not the right fit for us

From the way this was described, I guess I assumed it was going to be super clean and organic. Once I actually read through the ingredient list, though, there were still a few things in there I didn’t feel great about putting on my kid. It might be totally fine for someone else, but for me it’s not something I’d buy again.

The packaging came in really nice and everything was packed super well. None of that flimsy, half-assed nonsense you sometimes get

I thought the product was fine, but the return experience kind of ruined it for me. Since I just dealt with it recently, that’s the part I remember the most. The website made it sound like returning would be straightforward, but I ended up waiting on replies and never really felt like I knew what was going on with my refund.
It did finally get sorted out, so it wasn’t a total disaster, but it took longer than I expected and I had to follow up more than once. Maybe I’d feel less annoyed about it later, but right now I’d be hesitant to order again unless I was completely sure I wanted to keep it
